After learning to cook from scratch from her mother, Shivani arrived in Halifax in 2011 and feels Canada opened its doors for her and the best way to give back is the knowledge of how Indian food is cooked on a regular day at Indian homes through her storefront at Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market.

Open year round, Shivani’s take-away restaurant is also where she prepares her spice blends and conducts her cooking class.
